Our store runs on Shopify, which hosts the site and processes information on our behalf so that we can show you products, take orders and support you afterwards.

Payment information
We do not see or store your full card details. Payments are handled by Cashfree, the payment provider connected to our checkout. Card numbers, UPI credentials and bank login details are entered on the provider's secure systems, not ours. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded or failed, and limited details such as the payment method used and the last few digits of a card.
How we use your information
- To fulfil your order — process payment, arrange delivery, keep you updated, and handle returns, replacements or warranty claims.
- To support you — answer questions about products, delivery, customisation or an existing order.
- To operate the store — keep the site working, remember your cart and preferences, and improve how the site is laid out.
- To measure and advertise — understand how the store is used, and show and measure advertising for HomeCrest on third-party platforms.
- To send marketing you asked for — if you subscribe to our newsletter. You can unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in it.
- To keep the store secure — detect and prevent fraud and misuse.
- To meet legal obligations — including tax and accounting records, and responding to lawful requests.

Where your information is held
Our store is hosted on Shopify, and some of the services we use operate servers outside India. Information you give us may therefore be stored or processed outside the country you are in, under the terms those providers apply.
Security
We use the security controls provided by Shopify and by our payment provider, including encrypted connections for the checkout. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, and information sent over the internet is never entirely risk-free. Please do not send card numbers, passwords or other sensitive credentials to us by email or chat — we will never ask you for them.
How long we keep information
We retain personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes described in this policy, and for as long as required by applicable law. In practice that means order and transaction records are kept for as long as we need them to support the purchase, honour the warranty, and meet tax and accounting obligations; marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe; and enquiries and design briefs are kept while the conversation is open and for a reasonable period afterwards.
Your choices and rights

Our store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.
